Aqualight LED was desiged to grow aqnd maintain all types of
reef aquarium coral including the most light hungry! To meet
this goal Coralife put together over two years of innovative
engineering and focus on a singular goal: Ensuring superior product
performance to sustain a thriving saltwater reef. Designed and
perfected for more than two years, Aqualight LED offers precision
operation in an easy to use yet sophisticated style.
The Coralife Aqualight LED is a sophisticated, easy to use lighting
system that imitates the natural light of a coral reef, promoting
healthy corals in saltwater aquariums. It is a programmable fixture
with 92 powerful, long lasting LEDs that are adjustable from
10% to 100% to produce various light intensities to alter the
condition for different corals. The built-in controller/timer
in front allows you to set a beginning and end time for a complete
24 hour light cycle with sunrise, daytime, sunset and moonlight.
The fixture contains a combination of 10,000K (daylight white),
14,000K (cool white) and 20,000K (deep water blue) bulbs. The
Coralife Aqualight fixture features strong PAR output with a
uniquely designed acrylic lens, collimators and metallic reflector
cones that helps direct light into the tank. |

OF THE AQUALIGHT LED
GROW AND MAINTAIN ANY CORAL SPECIES
Aqualight LED contains a balanced
mix of high-power white, blue, and amber LEDs coupled with state-of-the-art
optics including custom lenses and metallic reflectors. As a
result, the maximum amount of light energy in the form of PAR
(photosynthetically active radiation) is directed into the aquarium
where it can be used by corals for growth. |

Aqualight LED was designed with
quality in mind including key features to ensure reliable long
term performance:
- * Passive and Active Heat Management:
Built in heat sinks keep LED chips cool. When needed a variable
speed fan will activate to provide additional cooling.
* Protection from Moisture: Each LED board is covered with an
advanced conformal coating designed to resist moisture while
the clear polycarbonate lens adds another barrier of protection
against evaporation and water spray.
* Integrated Battery Back Up: Saves user settings in the event
of power loss to the Aqualight LED. Once power is restored, Aqualight
LED will remember prior settings and resume operation. No need
to re-program the light fixture.
* Mounting Options: Aqualight LED comes complete with mounting
leg brackets and suspension hardware kit.

CONTROLLABILITY
A built in controller means you
can select from three pre-programmed color settings – 10,000K,
14,000K, and 20,000K – plus moonlight and night. In addition,
the intensity of each color setting can be adjusted from 10%
to 100% allowing for a wide range of lighting options. Use the
controller to quickly program the Aqualight LED including 24
hour timer to create a lighting cycle with sunrise, mid-day,
sunset, and moonlight. |
