Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System

Marinelands latest LED light system is
an excellent choice for the reef aquarist on a budget. This quality,
high output LED light has been specifically designed for use
in reef aquarium systems. It is powered by multiple energy efficient
1 watt LEDs that provide the correct intensity and spectral output
needed to maintain a reef aquarium. Each LED has a specifically
design polycarbonate lens to maximize light penetration into
the aquarium and gives a beautiful "shimmer" effect
that mimics the natural ocean. The innovative housing pulls heat
up and away from the LEDs and aquarium. This slim, low profile
light adds an elegant and attractive look to any aquarium. The
LEDs have an expected life span of 50,000 hours, which will drastically
reduce the typical cost of bulb replacements.
These lights come with a three-mode switch
that allows either, daytime (white and blue LEDs on), lunar (only
blue LEDs on), or all LEDs off. The units all feature only a
single low voltage power cord providing additional safety and
less clutter. Each light has wire frame legs that expand allowing
for increased versatility should you ever decide to change the
aquarium that it is used on. The 18" model expands to 24",
the 24" model expands to 36" and the 36" model
expands from 48" to 60”. The legs can also be removed
from the light, and the light can be placed on a glass canopy
to allow for an even lower profile.

daytime (all on), nighttime (lunar only) and all off positions

*A Flexible Mounting System includes stylish, adjustable mounting
legs for flexibility. The legs may be removed entirely for mounting
in a reef tank hood or for hanging over the aquarium.
