Juvenile Cortez Angel

Do not mistake this fish with the French Angel. The Cortez has a distinguishing blue vertical stripes between the yellow stripes and both stripes (blue & yellow) are narrower. If all fails, count the yellow stripes, French Angel has a total of 5 and the Cortez has 6 from face to tail.

Its diet should consist of frozen food conaining marine sponge, Spirulina, greens and live or frozen brine shrimp.

A very peaceful community fish, it is not a reef fish as it will nibble on corals and clams.

The Juvenile adapts well to aquarium life, more so than the adult.
