This grouper comes from the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean. It is hearty and a good eater, accepting almost all foods including live foods. It is aggressive, very territorial, and has a rapid growth rate. This fish will readily eat smaller tankmates. It is not reef compatible due to it’s feeding habits, and it is a good shipper.
