This drum comes from the Caribbean. It is fairly hearty and a fairly good eater, once settled in the aquarium, however, juveniles under 1 1/2” do not do well in captivity. It is fairly passive, however, it may eat very small tankmates. It is compatible with same or like species and may even school in larger aquariums. This fish is reef compatible in some cases and is a fair
shipper.
