This snapper comes from the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean. It is hearty and a good eater, accepting most foods including live foods. It is somewhat aggressive has a rapid growth rate, and will eat smaller tankmates. This fish will tolerate others of same or like species and will school in larger aquariums. It is not reef compatible do to it’s feeding habits, and it is a good shipper.
