Today, marine aquariums almost demand a variety
of marine algae. You get all the macro you need here to start
a nice refugium. Get 3 different types of Macro algae that
are all beneficial to your aquarium.
MixedGracilaria, This is healthy stuff
for your fish, it even helps cure lateral line erosion and is
also the richest plant source of calcium.
Caulerpa,an
important food source for many fish. Caulerpa releases organic
acids and necessary substances such as vitamins and amino acids.
Chaetomorpha Sp., Chaetomorpha Algae,
also known as Spaghetti Algae or Green Hair Algae, is an excellent
macro algae for refugiums. Each cell grows end to end, creating
long, stiff strands. It grows in filamentous clumps, resembling
a ball of fishing line.
A small bag of live sand containing
copepods, amphipods as well as beneficial worms. The amount is small , just enough to jump start your
