Christmas Island Flame Angel

Behavior: The Flame angel is one of the dwarf's that does extremely well in aquariums, it soon loses it's shyness, and eats almost anything that is offered. It can be very territorial toward fish of the same genus (kind), as well as other Angelfish species. They can also display aggression towards other fishes that may be of similar shape or behavior, if they are introduced after the Flame Angel has established its self in the aquarium.

Feeding and diet: Their diet should be varied with feedings of Spirulina and marine algaes, as well as mysid shrimp and other high-quality meaty fare. Offering some foods that are vitamin supplemented are good for them as well

Cautions: Will usually fight with other dwarf angels.

Minimum tank size: 20 Gallon
