This batfish comes from the Western Pacific. It is a hardy fish and a very good eater, accepting almost all foods. It is not compatible with same or like species, and can become fairly aggressive. This fish has a very rapid growth rate, and is not reef compatible. Small species are fair shippers, and larger ones are good shippers.
