This butterfly comes from the Western Pacific. It is fairly hearty, and a fairly good eater, accepting most foods. It is fairly passive and compatible with most other butterflies but may have a problem with another Red Pearlscale, unless they are kept three or more, constituting a school. It is not suited for reefs due to it’s feeding habits. Fairly good shipper.
