This snapper comes from the Western Pacific to the Indian Ocean. It is hearty and a good eater, accepting most foods including live foods. It is somewhat aggressive has a rapid growth rate, and will eat smaller tankmates. This fish will tolerate others of same or like species as long as there are enough territories. It is not reef compatible do to it’s feeding habits, and it is a good shipper.
