We hope you find ordering from Aquatic Connection a pleasant experience. Aquatic Connection absolutely guarantees that you will not find healthier quality aquatic livestock from any other source.
Aquatic Connection Live ships livestock nationwide, year-round using FedEx exclusively. The day your order ships, you will receive an e-mail containing your Federal Express tracking number so you can make arrangements to sign for your order upon scheduled arrival. Please note, our livestock guarantee requires a signature. No signature, no guarantee.

General Information
To ensure you receive the healthiest livestock available and to reduce the travel stress on your ordered livestock, your order will be shipped Fedex overnight using the
finest shipping procedures. Livestock, LiveRock/Live Sand, and Aquarium supplies are shipped seperately.

FedEx Hold Facilities
To reduce stress on livestock and as a convenience to our customers, Aquatic Connection Live endorses the use of qualified FedEx Hold Facilities as your shipment destination. You must provide us with the address, so to find your nearest hold facility, Click here to find your closest Fedex Facility

Saturday Delivery
FedEx does deliver Priority Overnight packages on Saturday but not all zip codes qualify for Saturday Delivery service. A $22.50 charge per box will be added to your invoice.Please make sure that this service is available in your area before making the selection. Saturday Delivery Important Note:
It's best to let them arrive during the week! Aquatic Connection Live can not recommend using Fedex Saturday delivery services, because delays do happen, and happen more often on the weekends. This can be from a mechanical or weather related issue, and terrible as it is, the shipment is held over the entire weekend, and delivered on Monday, not a good thing for our live stock. Fedex also will not provide a reembursement for any livestocklosses due to their own delay. We also will not assume responsibility for any specimens lost through a Fedex mishap on a weekend delivery. Therefore please note that any order for Saturday delivery is at your own risk, if there's a problem you will have no recourse. That's why we say, it's best to let them arrive during the week!

Tracking Information
A tracking number will be emailed to you with information confirming the location and time your package will arrive. Tracking information is sent by email from FedEx (not Aquatic Connection Live). You will receive your tracking number about one hour after shipments depart from our facility which is usually between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM EST.

The rates you see in the charts below are what you pay. All rates listed are for the contiguous 48 states. Alaska and PuertoRico residents, will pay higher FedEx Shipping charges, please call for shipping rates. For Live Rock shipping, if you'd like to upgrade your shipping method, Federal Express offers a number of convenient delivery options available to many areas of the country for an additional fee. Acclimation
To ensure the good health of your new arrivals, you may wish to get a head start on learning the procedures and make sure everything is on hand. Please follow the steps outlined on our website carefully. They will differ from your normal acclimation procedures from your local LFS, because the ordered livestock has been in shipping bags for a much longer time, so the acclimation instructions are very important. Preparing for Your New Arrivals 
a)For the well-being of your new aquarium livestock, we ask that someone be available at the time of delivery to prevent your new inhabitants from being exposed to the elements and extreme temperatures. Because this is so important, it is a requirement for our guarantee to apply.
b)Read our Acclimation Instructions now so you can have everything ready the day your new livestock arrive.Acclimation Instructions
c)Review our Compatibility Charts to ensure your new arrival is welcome in its designated aquarium. Fish Compatability

d)Make doubly sure you have a healthy aquarium before your livestock arrives by performing a water change, making sure your filter media is clean, and examining the general condition of current inhabitants.
e)Test your Water Parameters! Water conditions should be as follows:

Ordering & Shipping Cost Information

There are two components to the cost of having your livestock delivered. There is the shipping and packaging charge, and there is a $5.00 charge for any order being charged via credit card.

The handling portion of the charge pays for your styrofoam box, the heat or cold packs that are required to keep your specimens at the proper temperature, fedex insurance, and the handling of the order.

During the free shipping promo, your order is shipping for free, but there will be an additional $5.00 added on to all credit card orders.

-There is no Free Shipping outside the continental USA, shipping runs approximately $90.00 a box shipped via air to Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii.

 Returns & Other Notes

a)Livestock Returns - When we ship livestock, great care is taken to assure the animals arrive in great shape to your door. If you wish to return a specimen, you must use first request a return number, called an RMA Authorization. You can receive your RMA number by emailing our service department at service@aquacon.com. For the specimens healthy return, the same shipping method we used to get your specimens to you must be used when returning your specimens. We further suggest you work with an aquarium center who can provide your specimens an oxygen and saltwater filled container, packaged large enough, and strong enough to safely ship the animal back. Please be aware that if the specimens are in poor health when returned or worse perish, credit will not be honored. If any help is needed you may contact us at via email, at service@aquacon.com for help..With all that said, it is most important to make your selections carefully so you do not need to handle the tedious return procedures. Please make your selections carefully. 

b)
Aquarium supplies - If you wish to return a product, you must first request a return number, called an RMA Authorization. You can receive your RMA number by emailing service@aquacon.com. Upon receipt of unopened, unused and re-saleable product we will credit you for the returned items less a 25% restocking fee and all shipping charges .

c)
Freight Charges - Freight charges are never refunded. If your order was shipped free freight then the freight charge is calculated as 25% of the selling price or $5.00, whichever is higher.

d) There is a $5.00 charge for all orders being charged via credit card. This is to cover the high cost of credit card processing we pay. If you wish to avoid this charge, pay your credit card payment through Paypal.

e)
Shipping Damage - We apologize greatly for any product that is damaged in shipment and we will do everything possible to rectify the situation as fast as possible.

f)
Extra Shipping Charge for Lighting Fixtures and light bulbs - Damage to lighting systems and light bulbs unfortunately is to common during shipping. Unfortunately the shipping companies will not insure either lighting units or light bulbs against breakage. Therefore to protect your shipment, we charge a special packaging/ materials fee, which we use to insure that light systems and light bulbs are delivered safely.

- $29.99 per light fixture.Pays for extra packaging and boxing for a perfect delivery.

g)
Extra freight charges on large/and very fragile fish and corals - large and very fragile fish and corals requiring big bags and lots of water which will have higher shipping charges. There is no way to get around this. Packaging these specimens very large is nescessary to insure you receive a healthy fish or coral at your door, for your enjoyment. If you wish to know the charge, inquiries may be made at the time the order is placed.

h) Extra freight charges on heavy and/or oversize items such as large lighting units, chillers, refugiums, wet dry systems, etc. Extra freight charges will be added for these items. If you wish an exact shipping cost, please do not hesitate to email: service@Aquacon.com s.

I)
Order Cancellations will receive a full refund provided the order the order was not a special order, and has not yet been picked up by Fedex for delivery. All cancellations must be sent by either email or fax. Phone cancellations are not acceptable since a written record of all transactions must be kept. Please send email with subject line "Cancel order# xxxxxxx".

Returns and exchanges - In the event that a return is nescessary, please email service@aquacon.com for a Return Authorization Number. No returns will be accepted without one. All returns and exchanges of aquarium supplies are to be returned freight pre-paid and insured. There is no restocking fee for an exchange. On refunds, all freight charges and a 25% restocking fee will apply. No exceptions.
